New Features Added 11/14/2024
Advanced Portal users can now submit "Emergency" and "Impending Emergency" locate request tickets through the Portal,
enabling faster and more convenient submissions, especially after hours. If you are not currently an Advanced Portal user but would like to
become one, submit your request to Chasberdee Sample.

Emergency Request:
When submitting an Emergency Request your excavation must involve immediate danger to life, health, property, or a service outage. Please, add a note in the Remarks section of the ticket, specifying whether your crew is on-site, or en route, and why it is an emergency. Utilities often respond to emergency requests within hours, but the law currently allows up to three working days.
Impending Emergency Request:
For situations not requiring immediate excavation but involving potential dangers to life, health, property, or service loss likely to escalate, submit an “Impending Emergency” request. Please, add a note in the Remarks section explaining why the excavation is an impending emergency. The Portal calculates the “Locate By” date/time based on the law as follows for requests processed between:
o 8:00 PM - 11:59 AM: 12 hours later
o 12:00 PM - 7:59 PM: 8:00 am the next day
